1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to any services you buy from Core Tech AI Ltd ("Core Tech AI", "we", "us"), a private limited company registered in England and Wales. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Our services
We provide software development for businesses and individuals, and the design, build and support of web portals. The scope, price, timetable and deliverables for each project are set out in a written proposal or statement of work. If that document conflicts with these terms, the proposal or statement of work applies.
3. Quotes and payment
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise in writing.
- We may ask for a deposit before work begins. Remaining payments are due as set out in your proposal.
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. We may pause work on overdue accounts and charge statutory interest on late payments from business customers under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- All prices are in pounds sterling. VAT is added where it applies.
4. Changes to a project
If you ask for changes after a scope has been agreed, we will tell you how they affect the price and timetable before we carry them out. We only start the extra work once you have agreed.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate information, timely feedback and any content, access or materials we need to complete the work. You confirm that you have the right to give us any content you supply, and that our use of it on your behalf will not infringe anyone else's rights.
6. Intellectual property
Once you have paid in full, you own the custom software and content we create specifically for you, unless your proposal says otherwise. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, code libraries and know-how, and give you a permanent licence to use any of them that form part of your software. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences.
All content on this website, including the Core Tech AI name and logo, belongs to Core Tech AI Ltd. Partner names and logos belong to their respective owners.
7. Warranty and support
We will carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. If you find a defect in software we delivered within 30 days of handover, we will fix it free of charge. Ongoing maintenance, hosting and support are available under a separate agreement.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity, or for any indirect loss. For business customers, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. If you are a consumer, you keep all your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Cancellation
Either party may end a project by giving written notice. You will pay for work completed up to the date of cancellation. If you are a consumer and agreed to our services at a distance, you may have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start work during that period, you will pay for the work done before you cancel.
10. Confidentiality
We keep your business information confidential and use it only to deliver your project. We may mention your organisation as a client only with your permission.
11. Using this website
The information on this website is for general guidance and may change without notice. We link to partner websites for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to your use of the website from the date shown above. Changes do not affect projects already agreed in writing.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
